GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Security Architecture Consultant for Dublin City Centre, offering hybrid working arrangements. This 12-month fixed-term contract role focuses on assessing and improving cybersecurity across complex digital environments, spanning architecture, cloud security and enterprise security programmes.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of security engineering/architecture experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, consulting or assurance.
• Strong technical knowledge in network security, cloud security, IAM, security operations, infrastructure security or security architecture.
• Experience reviewing or designing enterprise-scale security solutions.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

The Opportunity

This role will suit individuals with strong technical security expertise who enjoy working across architecture, infrastructure, cloud security and enterprise security programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and review security architectures across enterprise environments.
• Evaluate cybersecurity controls within network, cloud and infrastructure platforms.
• Conduct technical security assessments and assurance reviews.
• Provide guidance on security-by-design and resilience best practices.
• Identify technical risks and security improvement opportunities.
• Engage with senior technology stakeholders on cybersecurity strategy and implementation.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience within cybersecurity engineering, architecture, consulting or assurance.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more of:
