Job summary

Blue Forge Recruitment, partnering with an Irish-owned retail group, seeks an experienced Store Manager for a Wicklow location. You will lead a large retail team, oversee daily store operations, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of service and visual merchandising.

The role requires 2–3 years of management experience in a busy retail environment, with strong leadership and communication skills. A rotating 40-hour schedule, with staff discounts, await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and create a positive, energetic team culture.
• Motivate, coach, and develop your team through regular training and feedback.
• Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Plan team workloads and rostered hours to maximise productivity.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean, organised, and well-stocked.
• Monitor stock levels, follow up on customer orders, and minimise out-of-stock issues.
• Analyse store performance, manage costs, and work towards improving KPIs.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, maintaining satisfaction.
• Ensure company policies and health and safety standards are followed at all times.
