You will perform high-quality ultrasound and radiographic examinations, ensure accurate imaging, maintain patient safety, and work with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians.

Qualifications

• Proven MRI and CT experience.
• Excellent IT skills and proficiency with clinical systems.

• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call service.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound and radiographic examinations in line with hospital protocols.
• Ensure accurate imaging procedures to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, and comfort.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and radiography equipment.
• Review patient histories prior to examinations.
• Collaborate with consultants, radiologists, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and infection prevention policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Mentor junior radiography staff and students when required.
• Participate in quality assurance programmes and audits.
• Assist in implementing departmental policies and service improvements.
• Provide excellent patient care and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound and radiographic examinations in line with hospital protocols and professional standards.
  
• Ensure accurate imaging procedures to support diagnosis and patient treatment plans.
  
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout all procedures.
  
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and radiography equipment effectively and safely.
  
• Review patient histories and clinical information prior to examinations.
  
• Work collaboratively with consultants, radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and infection prevention policies.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and imaging documentation.
  
• Supervise, support, and mentor junior radiography staff and students when required.
  
• Participate in quality assurance programmes, audits, and continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Proven experience across multiple imaging modalities, with mandatory experience in MRI and CT.

Excellent IT skills and proficiency in relevant clinical systems.

Previous experience in PACS administration is desirable.

Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call service.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer and patient-focused care.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a busy clinical environment.
