💼Job Overview:

A leading contractor in Ireland is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and cost-control functions on a major pharmaceutical project in Limerick.

📋Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cost planning, budgeting and forecasting throughout design development and construction phases.
  • Manage the tendering process, including preparing bills of quantities and contract documentation.
  • Oversee contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and managing any variations or claims.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
✅Qualifications & Experience:
  • A level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience working in a similar role, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Sector.
  • Proven track record of commercial leadership on projects of substantial value.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
