Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils & Utilities

We’re working with a leading civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile infrastructure and utilities projects across the Leinster region. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they’re now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to play a key role in major civil projects, with long-term stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all commercial and contractual elements of multiple projects from tender through to final account
  • Manage and mentor junior QS team members
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, variations, and cost reports
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor accounts and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
  • Liaise closely with clients, project teams, and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • 6+ years’ post-graduate experience within the Irish civil engineering or utilities sector
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently
  • Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of Irish contract types (Public Works, NEC, etc.)
  • Full, clean driver’s licence – site visits required as needed
