Job summary

Gilead Sciences Ireland UC in Cork is seeking a QC Chemist III to plan, execute, review and coordinate QC activities for incoming materials and packaging components. The role requires sound knowledge of quality systems, analytical methods, specifications and procedures, and involves complex assignments requiring scientific judgment and data review.

Education in Chemistry and GMP experience are preferred. You will support manufacturing priorities, maintain records in GLIMS/LIMS, LES, GVault/QDMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience in GMP testing of materials or packaging components preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, data integrity and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Quality Management System, SOP, cGMP and data integrity requirements.
• Perform, sample, test, review and document incoming materials and packaging components per specifications.
• Review analytical data for accuracy, data integrity and compliance in systems (GLIMS/LIMS, LES, GVault/QDMS, SAP).
• Coordinate testing to support manufacturing priorities and timely release of materials.
• Lead investigations into OOS, deviations and CAPA support.
• Prepare and revise controlled documentation and participate in change control.
• Coordinate external lab testing and ensure quality agreements compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to colleagues.
