Job summary

Flex seeks a Senior Project Manager – Databar in Dundalk, Ireland, to lead a portfolio of hyperscale electrical projects. You will coordinate Engineering from Sales to Fabrication, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Site teams, driving governance and mentoring other Project Managers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electrical manufacturing PM roles, strong people management, and proficiency with AutoCAD. This role offers hybrid work and extensive travel across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3rd Level qualification or Electrical trade qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Project Management role within the electrical manufacturing industry
• Experience with Bar products is advantageous
• Project Management qualifications and skills as well as experience with AutoCAD software
• Strong people management skills
• Effective problem-solving skills, self‑motivated and willing to demonstrate initiative.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Team player with positive attitude and proactive with a strong ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Operate with a high level of attention to detail
• Review and understand schematics, GA plans and project specifications for Electrical power and control Switchgear and its components
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and Data Centre operations would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel within EMEA region
• Fluent in English essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a Project Team in terms of ownership, translating, managing and reporting all aspects of the project, while identifying necessary resources and assigning responsibilities.
• Liaise with clients to build strong working relationships
• Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, conducting regular performance reviews and ensuring delivery standards
• Create strategic and operational plans for major projects and monitor financial performance
• Collaborate with Project managers to identify needs and develop solutions
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and review deliverables
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to timescales and cost restrictions
• Control and monitor assigned projects with regular reporting
• Coordinate project activities with related projects to avoid delays and minimize risk
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately; provide regular reporting to Head of Projects
• Return monthly applications and invoicing to the financial team on time
