Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience securing development processes and product security in standards-based programs.
• Working knowledge of IEC62443, ISO21434, US FDA or EU CRA.
• Strong understanding of hardware SoC security architecture, Secure Boot and embedded software security.
• Broad background in software, hardware, network and cloud security for embedded/connected products.

Responsibilities

• Own the product security workstream for the program and serve as the primary point of accountability for security across the product lifecycle.
• Define and maintain the product security posture, including product-level requirements and assumptions.
• Ensure evidence is created to demonstrate security assurance practices are followed during development.
• Coordinate with Product Security Assurance team and security advisor for development-phase questions and activities.
• Shape security requirements, architecture decisions, threat analysis inputs, and security IP selection.
• Align with product owner and engineering stakeholders so security decisions fit cost, schedule, and use.
• Engage customers to validate security objectives and post-release posture.
• Drive compliance planning for applicable standards and secure development lifecycle deliverables.
• Oversee secure development practices, verification activities, and remediation after release.
• Act as the contact for post-release security incidents and organize response actions.
