Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to lead the design and governance of internet infrastructure and related platforms. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams to define high-level requirements, develop architecture documents, and ensure reliable, secure and scalable solutions across Mastercard’s global network.

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of networks, operating systems and web architecture.
Deep understanding of internet infrastructure design and web administration.
Experience with load balancers, firewalls and security best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration in matrix project teams.

Responsibilities

Generate requirements with architects, engineers, developers and users to ensure high-level requirements are met.
Resolve architectural/infrastructure issues impacting availability and performance globally.
Produce technical architecture documents, flows and models to keep stakeholders aligned.
Maintain architectures and ensure designs remain current and non-obsolete.
Research and evaluate new technologies for Mastercard’s infrastructure.
