Job summary

Boots Ireland is seeking a Pharmacist for a fixed-term role in Dublin, 40 hours per week. You will provide expert patient care and advice beyond dispensing, ensuring safety and a high standard of service.

Responsibilities include delivering the pharmacy strategy, legal and ethical decisions, and strengthening store team capabilities while maintaining compliance with national guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• At least three years’ appropriate experience.
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice.
• Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
• Building the pharmacy capability of store teams.
• Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety.
• Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services.
