Job summary

Ascension Executive is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a team of three payroll professionals and ensure accurate, timely processing for approximately 1,200 employees on weekly and monthly cycles. You will liaise with HR, Finance and external stakeholders to maintain compliant payroll operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements and payroll systems, with a focus on controls, reconciliation and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in payroll.
• Strong experience managing Irish payroll.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Ability to work to tight payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls for ~1,200 employees.
• Ensure payrolls are accurate and meet deadlines.
• Review and approve payroll calculations prior to payment.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, changes and approvals.
