Job summary
Amgen Dun Laoghaire is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to join the Inspection & Packaging Engineering team on site. The role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and products within a GMP manufacturing setting.
The engineer will lead technical projects, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and innovation. Previous hands-on experience with inspection & packaging equipment and reliability planning is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic engineering.
- Senior level experience in packaging, inspection, medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrated solid leadership across functional boundaries.
- Experience in change control, non-conformance, corrective and preventative actions, and validation practices.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of GMP equipment and their lifetime documentation.
- Monitor day-to-day performance and report progress and resolution plans.
- Lead improvements, develop specifications, engineering documents and SOPs.
- Support Project Team with equipment upgrades, FAT/SAT/IOQ protocols.
- Identify and maintain spare parts lists and preventive maintenance plans.
