Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior OT Security Engineer to strengthen cybersecurity across Manufacturing and Research Technology. You will embed best practices in OT and ICS environments, improve reliability and resilience, and lead security controls throughout the operations.

You will collaborate with engineers, IT, and vendors, applying NIST and ISA/IEC standards to reduce risk. Willingness to travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OT/ICS environments in regulated industries and related threats.
• Proficiency in OT/ICS network design and topology mapping.
• Ability to influence, communicate clearly with operations, engineering, vendors, and peers.
• Knowledge of security-by-design principles and risk-based decision making.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams on security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, engineer, and implement OT security solutions across manufacturing and R&D.
• Lead OT cybersecurity assessments and secure-by-design reviews.
• Provide guidance on OT security practices across diverse computing environments.
• Work with autonomy while considering cybersecurity, reliability, and risk.
• Maintain relationships with affiliates, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
