Job summary

Evergreen Care seeks a Senior Staff Nurse to support the Nurse Manager and deputise in their absence within our residential care setting in Ireland. You will lead nursing staff on shifts, champion person-centred care, and ensure residents receive care that respects privacy, dignity and independence.

You will also stay updated on clinical practice, advocate for residents, and contribute to maintaining a safe, home-like environment aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• NMBI registered and active on the Nursing & Midwifery Board Ireland register.

Responsibilities

• deputise for the Nurse Manager & Deputy Nurse Manager in their absence.
• Lead and educate all grades of staff in the home to maintain high care standards.
• Oversee delivery of nursing care and ensure residents receive individualized plans.
• Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and drive a person-centred care approach.
• Participate in staff induction and ongoing training, and advocate for residents’ needs.
