Job summary

Guardian Professional is seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Dublin. You will build scalable, high‑performance backend services using .NET Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and a microservices architecture.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams, write clean, maintainable, and testable code, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and reliability improvements across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong proficiency with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems.
• Knowledge of EF Core and SQL/databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Integrate with relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions.
