Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Waterford is seeking a confident and reliable Motor Technician with hands-on expertise to join a professional team. The role involves diagnosing faults, servicing and repairing a range of vehicles, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

You must be fully qualified with at least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience, hold a full category B licence, and have a valid EU work permit.

Qualifications

Fully qualified Motor Technician with 3+ years post-apprenticeship experience.
Full category B driving licence.
Valid EU work permit.

Responsibilities

Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment.
Service and maintain a range of vehicles to a high standard, including oil changes and brake checks.
Repair or replace defective parts and components such as exhaust systems, timing belts, starters, alternators.
Use initiative to identify and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
Work independently and in a team to ensure timely job completion.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; document work including parts used and time taken.
