Job summary

Resmed is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, optimize, and scale MongoDB solutions while managing AWS RDS/Aurora and MySQL deployments. The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams and DBAs to ensure high availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MongoDB experience including architecture and ops.
• 4+ years in MySQL development and administration.
• Hands-on AWS with RDS/Aurora.
• Kubernetes/EKS and containerized deployments experience.
• GitHub-based version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills.
• Solid SDLC understanding and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance MongoDB solutions.
• Manage AWS RDS/Aurora instances for security and scalability.
• Support deployments and orchestration with EKS.
• Collaborate to design efficient data models, queries, and indexing.
• Version database scripts with Flyway and GitHub.
• Monitor performance with native tools, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Assist migrations across RDBMS platforms.
