Job summary

Stelfox Limited in Ireland is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for a 12-month initial term on a hybrid-working model. The role involves designing, developing, deploying and testing advanced ML solutions, with governance, data quality and scalable production readiness in mind.

The ideal candidate will lead ML model development, work across Python, R and Dataiku, and operate in AWS/Linux environments while leveraging GenAI patterns to deliver impactful data-driven outcomes for the client.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data science and ML model development.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Experience with Dataiku; Linux, containers and AWS environments.
• Knowledge of AI and GenAI development patterns (e.g., RAG).
• Experience with testing, deployment, and defect management in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy data science and ML solutions for medium-scale use cases.
• Collaborate to drive data-informed product strategies.
• Improve data quality, performance, reliability and scale of data platforms.
• Lead data model development and deployment methodologies with DevSecOps/DataOps practices.
• Stay current with tech trends and influence change across IT teams.
