Job summary

Keenova is seeking a Principal/Senior Systems Engineer in Dublin to lead system definition and development for medical device projects. You will define system requirements, guide architecture, and collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.

The role requires 8+ years in systems engineering for complex products and 5+ years in medical device development, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or above) in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 8+ years in Systems Engineering for complex electrical/mechanical products.
• 5+ years in medical device development.
• Familiarity with key medical device standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601).
• INCOSE certification or knowledge of SE best practices is a plus.
• Experience with Systems Engineering tools like Jama Connect.

Responsibilities

• Lead system definition and development activities in medical device projects.
• Create system-level design inputs and derive subsystem requirements.
• Assess system architecture with cross-functional teams to define optimal solutions.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality activities and design controls.
• Collaborate with program managers to create project schedules and milestones.
• Communicate technical status to stakeholders and leadership.
