Job summary

Dornan Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site mechanical installation activities for a major pharmaceutical project. You will oversee mechanical trades, coordinate crews, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, interpretation of drawings, and collaboration with project teams, QA/QC, and clients. Health, safety and quality procedures are a core focus on this site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical crews on large industrial/pharma projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical trades and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate daily site activities and allocate work across crews.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with specs and standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote safety culture.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues with the project team.
• Track progress, productivity, and resource needs on site.
