Job summary

PLATFORM&CO PTE. LTD. in Dublin seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive NPI, product transfer, and sustaining engineering for life-science products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead design improvements for enclosures, chassis, and interfaces, and apply FMEA, DOE, and root-cause analysis to reduce cost and improve yield and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with NPI, product transfer, and sustaining engineering.
• Familiar with FMEA, DOE, root cause analysis, and ECR/ECN processes.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI, product transfer, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Lead mechanical design improvements for enclosures, mechanisms, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot issues to improve quality, reliability, and yield.
• Apply FMEA, DOE, and statistics to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Maintain engineering change documents and technical drawings.
