Building Design Partnership Limited in Dublin seeks a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will lead the mechanical design for high-profile projects, collaborating with engineers and architects to deliver innovative, sustainable building services solutions.

You will work across sectors including workplace, healthcare, education, historic, leisure and residential, leveraging Revit BIM workflows and strong communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified to master's level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Full Member of CIBSE or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer preferable.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to clients and teams.
• Broad experience across building services and knowledge of passive design and renewable energy.
• Proficient in front-end design tools such as IES and BIM workflows; experienced in Revit.
• Delivered significant projects across ranges and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design on high-profile projects.

We are seeking a senior mechanical building services engineer to join our dynamic team in our Dublin Studio – someone who revels in the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects in our stimulating, inter-disciplinary design studio. About you

Essential

• Degree qualified, preferably to master’s level, in a relevant engineering discipline


• Full Member of CIBSE or equivalent


• Chartered Engineer Preferable


• Possess excellent communication skills and be capable of transmitting your passion for building services engineering to clients, other professions and the team


• Have a broad experience of the industry, detailed knowledge of the design of building services systems and a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions and renewable energy technologies


• Be capable of offering informed and intelligent comment on issues related to the creation of sustainable buildings


• Be knowledgeable and experienced in using front end design tools such as IES, and are fully BIM and IT literate


• Experienced in working within a Revit environment and a desire to develop these skills


• Successfully designed and delivered several significant projects across a range of scales and sectors


• Results driven, enjoy challenging opportunities, have a positive attitude and are resourceful. You will have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and sense of responsibility
