Job description

Byrne Wallace Shields LLP, one of Ireland's leading business law firms, is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join its dynamic, fast-paced marketing team.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this is a hands-on role for a creative and data-driven marketing professional with strong expertise in digital marketing, content creation, campaign delivery, branding and design. The successful candidate will manage multi-channel marketing activities, deliver compelling thought leadership content, and enhance the firm’s reputation as a leading law firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver and optimise digital and offline marketing campaigns in line with the firm’s values and business objectives.

  • Manage the development and delivery of high-quality thought leadership content across a range of channels, including e-marketing, the website, events and webinars, sponsorships and partnerships, media relations, social media, video and audio.
  • Collaborate with partners and legal teams to turn legal insights into engaging, client-friendly marketing materials.
  • Develop and use the CRM as a central intelligence system, ensuring that the firm’s marketing activities are targeted, measurable and aligned with its marketing and business development objectives. Support the implementation of the firm’s Information Security Management system and comply with its Information Security Statement.
  • Provide internal communications support to share information about the firm’s people initiatives, including sports and social activities, CSR, diversity and inclusion, and learning and development, through the firm’s intranet and internal email systems.
  • Research activities, trends and developments across relevant market sectors, industries and organisations to identify opportunities for growth and development. Work closely with partners and business development colleagues to support sector campaigns, client relationship initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Support the annual directory submissions process (specifically for Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500), and award entries.
  • Ensure consistent application of the firm’s brand guidelines across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Report on KPIs and track the firm’s online and social media presence, press coverage, digital campaigns and CRM activity, contributing relevant data and insights to quarterly and annual reports.
Skills and Experience
  • A relevant third level qualification.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services or B2B environment.
  • Strong content creation skills, including writing, editing, design, and video and audio production. Experience using graphic design software, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Canva.
  • Proficient in using CRM and content management systems, email marketing platforms, webinar platforms, and video and audio software. Experience using Vuture, WordPress, MODX, InterAction, Teams, Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, Stream, Copilot and Clipchamp.
  • Experience with SEO, analytics tools (Google Analytics), and social media management platforms.
  • Experience and knowledge of using AI platforms and tools for marketing purposes is desirable.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
