Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Ireland is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Specialist for our Dunboyne site to drive end-to-end production scheduling and continuous improvement. You will partner with IPT and cross-functional teams to optimize batch delivery, quality, and compliance.

The role emphasizes GMP, change controls, and hands-on technical leadership. You will lead process optimization, equipment handover, and PAS enhancements while upholding safety and cost goals.

Qualifications

• For candidates with a minimum Level 7 qualification in science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of pharma/biopharma experience, with GMP exposure.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and schedule-driven delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IPT and Operations to ensure on-time batch delivery and KPI attainment.
• Serve as technical expert for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Lead introduction of new process equipment with training and handover support.
• Drive continuous improvement through cross-functional teams and change controls.
• Own EBRs and support PAS updates and GMP documentation.
• Provide cross-functional technical support to maintenance, engineering, and quality.
• Ensure supply of high-quality product by risk identification and equipment readiness.
