Senior ICT Cloud & Security Engineer
Location: Dublin City Centre
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Contract length: Permanent role
Weekly Hours: 35 hours

Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity governance, conditional access, and MFA.
- Implement Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and role-based access controls.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint configuration.
- Configure & manage Microsoft Defender XDR solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365 etc).
- Monitor and respond to security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and other SIEM tools.
- Apply best practices for securing Azure resources, including network security groups, firewalls, and encryption.
- Implement Zero Trust principles across identity, devices, and applications.
- Lead investigations for security incidents and provide remediation strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Show a high degree of awareness of cybersecurity best practices and concepts including phishing awareness, Identity and Access Management, Multifactor Authentication, Zero Trust Security Model, Purview especially Information Protection.
- Demonstrate experience of threat evaluation and security incident response.
- Have exposure to and demonstrate experience using an ITIL aligned Service desk and associated principles such as Incident and Service request management, Problem Management, Change Management, continual Service improvement etc.
- Demonstrate excellent support & troubleshooting skills for Level 3 Incident Management aligned with ITIL best practices (Incident management, Service Request and Problem Management).
Duties
- Be willing and capable to work well within a team environment.
- Be able to clearly communicate technical solutions in a user friendly and professional manner demonstrating a customer service mindset.
- Provide third line support for ICT Operations and other ICT Teams.
- Liaise with other ICT technical team specialists within the organization to complete projects.
- Follow Incident Management Process.
- Create and update Knowledge Management system, SOPs, and Runbooks.
- Contribute effectively to organizational and team processes and adhere to policies including but not limited to Data Protection and Information Security.
- Be responsible for ensuring the IT systems and applications are maintained to best practice.
- Recognize system deficiencies and suggest effective solutions while complying with company policies and procedures.
- Research current best practice technology solutions and translate them into our environment.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Problem Management meetings and share information with the support teams.
- Be responsible for resolution of all tickets within agreed KPI timelines.
- Carry out any other duties as required.
Education and Certifications
- Must hold Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate AZ-500 or SC-500.
- Must hold at least one of the following but all three would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate SC-200
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate SC-300
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate MD-102
