Job summary

Statkraft group. is seeking a Senior Grid Engineer to join their Irish Project Development team. This role involves managing the grid connection process for large-scale renewable projects. You will provide expert technical input, work closely with various teams, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in engineering and have a strong interest in renewable energy. Additionally, excellent communication skills and relevant experience in the Irish energy sector are highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role or field.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, particularly the grid connection process.
• Ability to manage a large workload, prioritise effectively, and balance competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in the Irish energy sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the grid connection process across all project stages.
• Undertake high-level electrical design for projects.
• Work closely with the Project Development and Delivery teams.
• Support procurement of specialist consultants and contractors.
• Ensure timely achievement of grid code compliance on projects.
