Job summary

Irish Cancer Society is seeking an experienced Graphic & Digital Designer to lead on visual assets for marketing campaigns, brand activity and digital content. The role collaborates with the Head of Brand & Marketing and supports multiple teams including Fundraising, Advocacy, Communications and Patient Services.

You will manage multiple design projects, ensure brand consistency, and guide external partners. Hybrid work setup with in-office days in Dublin 4 and occasional site work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media or related subject.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in graphic design or related creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Experience designing for digital channels (social, website, email, online ads) including motion graphics.
• Experience producing print-ready artwork and managing production with media outlets.
• Strong typography, layout, visual storytelling and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
• Understanding of traditional marketing campaigns including TTL/ATL.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the Society’s visual assets across channels.
• Produce digital assets for websites, social, email, ads and prints.
• Create animations and motion graphics for campaigns.
• Develop infographics and visual content to simplify complex information.
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate on campaigns and promotional materials across channels.
• Oversee design agencies and freelancers through briefing to delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet requirements and deadlines.
