Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting to join the Central Expenses team in Dublin, Ireland. You will conduct detailed variance analyses, communicate fund expense information to clients, and support junior staff.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5–7 years in fund accounting or financial operations, strong Excel and financial software proficiency, and CPA or CFA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA/CFA a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in fund accounting, expense management or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, expense ratio reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing budgeted vs actual expenses.
• Communicate fund expense information to clients and answer questions.
• Provide input into methodologies and mentor junior staff.
• Analyze fund budgets and prepare for client review.
• Investigate and correct more complex fund issues.
