Job summary

JD Sports in Limerick is seeking a Senior Floor Manager to lead our flagship store’s operations, coaching a high‑performing team and delivering the elevated JD service standard throughout every shift.

You will own floor performance, drive commercial results, mentor colleagues, and partner with store leadership to meet ambitious sales targets while maintaining premium standards in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume retail or customer-facing environments.
• Ability to lead and develop teams to achieve goals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in complex customer scenarios.
• Solid understanding of store operations and performance drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop floor to deliver exceptional JD service standards and a premium customer experience.
• Drive commercial performance through merchandising, stock management, and team motivation.
• Own store KPIs and champion consistent progress and results across shifts.
• Support day-to-day operations including opening/closing routines, cash processes, audits, stock accuracy and cost control.
• Recruit, train, and develop colleagues to build a high-performing, engaged team.
