Job summary

Berkley Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its established finance team in Ireland. The role encompasses management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls and commercial analysis.

You will work alongside an experienced accounts team to ensure accurate reporting and provide actionable financial insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet) and related analysis.
• Lead month-end and year-end close to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and present management reports, KPI dashboards and insights.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with stakeholders to create accurate plans.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, driving forward-looking analysis.
• Oversee VAT and statutory filings and maintain robust controls.
