Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Software Engineer to lead analytics applications built on massive data sets from retail stores, banks, and consumer partners. You will craft high-performance algorithms, scalable services, and intuitive visualizations that empower users to derive actionable insights.

You will mentor engineers, shape design decisions, and collaborate with Product Owners to drive the feature roadmap in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Solid technical foundation in full stack development.
• Experience solving and implementing scalable solutions to solve complex problems.
• Strong understanding of microservices development and API integration.
• Knowledge of Java or Python (OO) languages.
• Experience in CI/CD and engineering methodologies.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build high performing team.
• Lead large scale projects from inception to release.
• Lead design of major, complex part of the platform with high-quality development.
• Define state of the art service-oriented software architectures.
• Lead the development team and serve as a technical resource for team members.
• Mentor junior engineers and teammates.
• Work closely with Product Owner to define the product roadmap.
