Job summary

• Interpret and implement the legislative provisions, policy context and operating environment for the directorate/department.
• Determine the nature and level of demand for services and recommend priorities to the Director of Service.
• Implement agreed strategies to enhance service range, quality and efficiency.
• Support the work of the Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs) and Corporate Policy Group (CPG).
