Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit in Ireland. This full-time role focuses on break-fix support, preventative maintenance, small installations, and site surveys for federal, local and commercial clients.

You will ensure reliability and compliance of electronic security systems across projects, documenting results and coordinating with teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience installing and/or maintaining electronic systems across multiple projects.
• Experience with fault finding, servicing, commissioning, and small works installations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and teams.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform break-fix activities, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on installed systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) per schedules and site needs.
• Deliver small works projects including minor installations and system upgrades.
• Conduct site surveys and provide input for accurate scope development.
• Install containment, cabling, enclosures, and panels per industry standards.
