Job summary

Dornan Engineering, based in Athlone, is seeking an experienced Electrical COHE Energy Marshall / Senior Authorised Person to join our pharmaceutical project team. The role focuses on leading COHE activities, managing LOTO and energisation, and ensuring safe isolation across MV/LV systems within a fast-paced project environment.

You will work closely with electrical contractors, commissioning teams and client representatives to verify voltage absence, approve energisation, and maintain project

Qualifications

• Must have Electrical COHE leadership experience on industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution systems.
• Experience with testing, energisation and lockout procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Electrical COHE process on behalf of CMT.
• Report to CMT Electrical Package Manager on COHE LOTO and energisation activities.
• Review and approve MV/LV energisation requests.
• Coordinate safe isolation of electrical systems to prevent energisation.
• Audit safety protocols and energy-related activities meet requirements.
• Work with contractors, commissioning teams and client reps to manage energy sources.
