Job summary

RSK Ireland is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join its growing ecology team on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid work arrangements. The candidate will lead survey work, contribute to national planning through biodiversity assessment and project management, and mentor junior ecologists across Ireland.

The role offers an opportunity to develop within a dynamic, national-scale consultancy environment. The successful candidate will hold an ecology-related degree, have substantial experience

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology, zoology, biology, or environmental science.
• Desire and ability to mentor junior colleagues and work within a team.
• Pro-active attitude to managing time and delivering work on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee medium/large projects and tenders from inception to finalisation.
• Lead fieldwork and survey coordination, including out-of-hours and travel as required.
• Provide solid technical advice to clients and coordinate with ecology team.
• Develop team in ecology disciplines and support business development alongside quotation preparation.
