Job summary

AtkinsRealis Ireland Ltd. is seeking an experienced ecologist to organise and manage ecological input for environmental projects. The role supports Senior Consultants and PMs, requiring strong field skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Open to ecologists specializing in terrestrial or freshwater skills, with competency in habitats/botany, ornithology, terrestrial mammals, and/or bats being advantageous. Remote/Blended working available in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering environmental projects and ecological input.
• Strong organisational, technical, numerical and communication skills.
• Ability to support Senior Consultants and PMs in project delivery.
• Competency in habitats / botany, ornithology, terrestrial mammals, or bats is advantageous.

We are currently looking to appoint a confident individual who:

• Can work well both as part of a team and independently.
• Can organise and manage ecological input to environmental projects.
• Has strong organisational, technical, numerical and communication skills and can demonstrate logical thinking and concise reporting.
• Can support Senior Consultants and PMs in the delivery of key projects.
• Has strong field skills.

We are open to ecologists who specialise in either terrestrial or freshwater skills. However, competency in habitats / botany, ornithology, terrestrial mammals, and / or bats would be looked on favourably.
