Job summary

Health Service Executive in Sligo seeks a Senior Dietitian to lead paediatric dietetic services for the Children Disability Network Team. Qualifications

• Experience delivering dietetic services to children, including those with disabilities or complex needs.

• Work within an interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team and contribute to Family Centred Practice and the Individual Family Support Plan.
• Prioritise and manage a paediatric disability caseload according to identified need and resources.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and professional judgement in paediatric care.

Post specific related information

• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the delivery of Dietetic services to children, including experience of working with children with disabilities and/or complex developmental needs.
• Demonstrate experience in the delivery of Dietetic services relevant to the management of paediatric enteral feeding, malnutrition, nutrition support, infant feeding, complex restrictive eating and/or weight management, as relevant to the role.
• Demonstrate experience and knowledge in the application of appropriate counselling and lifestyle behaviour change techniques relevant to children and families.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team and to contribute to Family Centred Practice and the Individual Family Support Plan.
