Job summary

Global-e is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the classification team in Ireland. You will research, design, and maintain ML models for fast, accurate cross-border classification and customs clearance, and develop LLMs to boost automation and accuracy.

You will partner with product and engineering, perform exploratory data analysis, and document insights for stakeholders. The role emphasizes productionizing models and continual improvement in a fast-moving e-commerce compliance space.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience delivering ML solutions.
• End-to-end data product lifecycle from ideation to production.
• Experience training and deploying LLMs and transformer models.
• Strong NLP skills for taxonomy, recommendations, and search domains.
• Solid programming and mathematical foundations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
