Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK&I in Letterkenny is seeking an experienced data engineer to develop and support enterprise data integration using Microsoft Fabric. You will deliver reliable pipelines, ensure data quality, and provide operational support.

The role requires 6-9 years of data integration experience, strong SQL/Python skills, and hands-on Fabric expertise. This is a fixed-term hybrid position in Ireland with responsibilities across data engineering and delivery.

Qualifications

6-9 years in data integration or data engineering.
Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Factory, pipelines and dataflows.
Experience with OneLake, Lakehouse, SQL, ETL/ELT development.
Proficiency in Python or PySpark, data validation, Git, CI/CD.
Strong troubleshooting, communication and Agile delivery skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, dataflows, notebooks and ingestion processes.
Implement ETL/ELT logic using mappings, SQL, Python or PySpark.
Integrate source systems with Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse and target stores.
Implement validation, reconciliation, logging and error handling; troubleshoot issues.
Optimize performance, support testing, deployments, and peer reviews for juniors.
