Are you ready to transform complex supply chain challenges into actionable insights? As a Senior Specialist, Data & Insights Analyst within Alexion’s Supply Chain Intelligence Hub, you'll be a pivotal partner to our global supply chain services team. Your expertise will drive improvements in service, resilience, cost, and speed by translating business challenges into analytical questions and choosing the right data-based approach to solve them. From data extraction to dashboard generation, your analytical support will empower stakeholders to prioritize their needs and make informed decisions.

Accountabilities

• Understand the business strategy of your Supply Chain stakeholders and identify areas where analytics can bring added value to the organization.
• Find the right analytical solution for requests from business stakeholders, including data extraction, report creation, ad-hoc analyses, advanced analytics, and insights creation.
• Create dashboards and reports for recurrent use using Power BI and other tools, including the latest AI and productivity tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, power automate/apps.
• Conduct and support advanced analytical projects using Celonis process mining/digital twin and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Extract data from various sources using SQL/Snowflake schema/data products.
• Be the owner of data products and provide ongoing support for existing tools such as Qlik sense, Smartsheet, Excel.
• Establish KPI definitions, metadata, and governance to ensure consistency, trust, and comparability across regions and functions.
• Adhere to data privacy, compliance, and quality standards; participate in governance forums to prioritize analytics demand, align scope, and ensure ethical, responsible use of data.
• Contribute to process automation and optimization projects.
• Train users in using your dashboards and other analytical tools and provide ongoing support.
• Support cross-functional initiatives within the Supply Chain Intelligence Hub’s capability roadmap; lead components of analytics programs, manage scope and priorities, and communicate progress to sponsors and stakeholders.

Essential Skills/Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst within a business environment of at least 2 years.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex analytics, influence decisions, and gain buy-in across levels - from planners and analysts to senior leadership.
• Expert-level Power BI development, including data modeling, parameterization, interactivity, visual best practices, performance optimization, and dashboard governance.
• Conversant with latest AI and productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, power auto/power apps etc).
• Experienced in interacting with business stakeholders and translating complex analytics into simple, actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Ability to translate a business challenge into an analytical question and structure it into adequate project phases.
• Proficient in digging into large and complex data structures, defining relevant features, and extracting meaningful patterns through data exploration.
• Experienced in either R or Python or ML.
• Basic SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and feature extraction.
• Advanced analytical skills allowing extraction of insights from combining and analyzing multiple large, complex data sources.
• Ability to conduct duties in an office environment with typical office-based role requirements.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of Celonis, Cortex AI, OMP.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning methods/Python/R.
• Experience in the Supply Chain space.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
