Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience focusing on complex pipeline development, data modeling, and governance metadata patterns.
• Advanced, hands-on experience with AWS Glue (ETL, catalogs, schema registry, workflows) and AWS EMR (Spark engine tuning).
• Deep proficiency with Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala) for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Expert knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including Star/Snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
• Expert-level Python and SQL (including advanced analytical functions and performance tuning).

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Lead MDM strategy within pipelines and develop data stitching, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
• Implement data quality and observability frameworks to ensure trust in pipeline outputs.
• Architect Data Marts and semantic layers for BI and analytics.
• Champion data documentation, catalogs, and lineage across the organization.
• Embed data governance policies into the logistics lifecycle with compliance alignment.
• Set engineering standards and mentor the data engineering squad.
