VANRATH is partnering with a global technology consultancy to hire an experienced Data Engineer on a 6-month contract to help build modern data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Azure. You will design scalable pipelines and work directly with clients to deliver robust data solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, governance and best practices, with hybrid or remote working options and a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

Senior Data Engineer or Data Consultant with commercial experience.
Hands-on Snowflake and Databricks experience.
Strong Azure skills (Azure Data Factory & Data Lake).
Advanced SQL and Python or PySpark.
Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
Knowledge of data modelling, governance and data quality.
Client-facing delivery experience with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data pipelines and cloud data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks and Azure.
Develop reliable ETL/ELT workflows for large datasets.
Improve data models, platform performance and processing costs.
Support migration, integration and transformation programmes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
