Job summary

Google Ireland Ltd is seeking a Telecom/Data Center Lead to drive next-generation data centers. You will collaborate with Architects, MEP, Security, and Networking to develop integrated telecom designs at product and assembly levels, ensuring compliance and promoting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure, telecommunications, or construction industries.
• 5 years of engineering experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Experience in a data center or a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal Telecom Engineers and network designers to rationalize requirements into products, conceptual rack/tray layouts, and ensure adequate telecom infrastructure.
• Lead internal and external ICT/telecom product and data center design reviews across Telecom, Security, Controls, Networking.
• Review construction level drawings documenting ICT/Telecom scope for program reference.
• Review and enable best practices for converged network allocations across mechanical, electrical, and controls products.
