Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking a Data Analyst to join its expanding data team in Westmeath. The role focuses on using data to answer business questions, improve performance and support commercial and operational decisions.

You will work with a broad range of datasets and collaborate with teams across data, technology and the wider business. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in data analysis or reporting, strong SQL, experience with Python or R, and hands-on experience with BI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics or reporting.
• A relevant third-level qualification in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience with large datasets.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, manipulation and segmentation.
• 2+ years using Python or R for data analysis.
• Solid understanding of databases, data models and data structures.
• Good knowledge of BI concepts and reporting practices.
• Experience with major BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate and analyse large, complex datasets to answer business questions and uncover insights.
• Identify patterns and trends to support performance improvements.
• Develop analyses to support commercial, operational and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand data availability and quality.
• Work with reporting/visualisation specialists to improve dashboards and MI.
• Add context to reporting to help stakeholders interpret data actions.
