Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Customs Operations Manager in Dublin to lead the customs and trade compliance strategy, driving efficient clearance of freight documents and advising customers on regulatory requirements.

You will manage a team of 3, coordinate with authorities, and ensure adherence to GDP standards and data protection policies, while aligning with business objectives and DHL policies.

Qualifications

• 6 years of customs experience
• People management experience preferred or required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of customs and trade compliance strategy.
• Oversee regulations, permits, licenses and authorizations for customs clearance.
• Direct preparation of customs declarations and related export/import documents.
• Monitor inbound/outbound customs activities to optimise clearance performance.
• Ensure compliance with revenue and international trade legislation and data protection policies.
