Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our Project and Development Services team. The role blends delivering cost management projects with winning new business and expanding into base build and larger construction projects across Ireland.

Based in Dublin, you will lead cost management from concept to completion, develop cost plans, manage tenders, and report to clients while ensuring compliance with JLL standards and Irish regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management on office fit‑out projects from start to finish
• Prepare cost plans, track budgets, and find ways to save money without cutting quality
• Run tender processes – prepare documents, analyse bids, and help select contractors
• Report costs clearly to clients and manage changes to budgets
• Handle final accounts and close out projects properly
• Make sure we meet JLL standards and Irish regulations
• Assist in setting up clear processes and templates for the Irish cost management team
• Assist in developing new services such as reinstatement cost assessments, lifecycle costing, carbon accounting, feasibility studies, and sustainability cost advice
• Work with our UK cost management colleagues to learn from their experience and share best practices
• Help train and develop other team members in cost management
• Assist in finding and winning new business, especially in base build and shell & core projects
• Assist in building a pipeline of projects outside our current fit‑out focus
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, and clients involved in new construction
• Assist in writing proposals and present to potential clients, particularly for larger projects
• Support the Head of Project Management with key client relationships
• Team up with other JLL departments to win work together and offer complete solutions to clients
• Attend industry events and stay up to date with what’s happening in the market
• Keep track of opportunities and what competitors are doing

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our Project and Development Services team, reporting to the Head of Project Management. This role splits your time between delivering cost management projects and winning new business, strengthening our office fit‑out capabilities while growing into base build and larger construction projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management Delivery

• Lead cost management on office fit‑out projects from start to finish
• Prepare cost plans, track budgets, and find ways to save money without cutting quality

Improving How We Work
