Job summary

Amgen in Ireland is seeking a Site Lead for Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). You will be the single point of accountability and interface between Amgen and assigned external partners, overseeing drug product manufacturing operations and site performance.

Responsibilities include developing and monitoring budgets and contracts with CMOs, driving operational excellence, managing site reviews and communications, and leading cross‑functional teams through technology transfer and process

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as per standard.
5+ years of experience in protein DP, or packaging manufacturing.
2+ years of experience working with external parties and/or leading cross-functional teams for clinical and/or commercial products.
1+ years of project management experience leading multi-functional and multi-location team.
1+ years of experience across ACM or CMQ.
Ability to travel +/- 20% of time (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

Lead contract manufacturing site relationships and manage site performance.
Develop and manage budgets, contracts, and forecasts with CMOs.
Drive operational excellence and change.
Oversee site performance and drive improvements at contract sites; coordinate with internal management.
Lead project management and technology transfer to contract sites; manage budgets and timelines; ensure risk management and issue escalation.
