Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland, based in Limerick, is seeking a Senior Consultant, Compliance to strengthen the Ireland & UK compliance program. You will provide senior advisory support on regulatory obligations, risk management, and governance reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.

You will engage in compliance risk assessment, monitoring, reporting, and regulatory engagement, partnering with regional and global teams to uphold the firm’s standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance monitoring, risk or control advisory is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Ireland/EU/UK regulations for funds service providers is beneficial.
• Strong judgement, decision-making and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Heads of Compliance in embedding a compliance framework for Ireland & UK entities.
• Prepare governance materials for boards and risk committees and provide senior advisory support.
• Contribute to risk assessments, monitoring programmes and regulatory interactions.
