Job summary

Siemens is expanding its team with a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer in Ireland to bring HPC to the Cloud for secure execution of chip design software. This role focuses on researching, architecting, and automating cloud environments across public, private, and hybrid clouds for EDA workloads.

You will work with Azure, AWS and Google to adapt offerings, ensure security, and scale performance, while participating in a founding SW team in Ireland and driving automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
• Experience architecting and maintaining large-scale cloud platforms in production.
• Understanding of cloud security concerns and multi-cloud strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud architectures across Azure, AWS and Google to support EDA.
• Develop and automate reference architectures for self-managed and managed cloud offerings.
• Facilitate multi-cloud resource orchestration from Siemens PaaS.
• Promote secure, scalable, large-scale infrastructure and applications.
• Work in a scrum team to build dynamically controlled cloud infrastructure.
• Implement POCs to validate approaches and techniques.
