Job summary

EY Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Cloud & AI Platforms team within Technology Consulting in Dublin. You will deliver hands-on cloud engineering across Compute, Networking, Storage, PaaS, Identity, Security, and Governance, and help implement cloud solutions from design through deployment.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to solve complex problems, integrate AI into cloud workflows, and contribute to proposals and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• At least 3 years hands-on with Azure (or 5 years across Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Cloud and/or IT industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on engineering across Cloud and AI platform services.
• Support cloud solution implementation from design through deployment, monitoring and operations.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and deliver reliable cloud services.
• Contribute to proposal development and presentations for moderately complex projects.
• Develop high-quality work products and contribute as a subject matter resource in your area of expertise.
• Participate in technical discussions to shape client solutions, focusing on practical outcomes.
• Integrate AI capabilities into cloud workflows, including leveraging Cloud AI Platforms and automation agents.
• Maintain your personal development plan and continue to build technical expertise.
